Some people take photos and someone else brings a camcorder. One person promises to e-mail his photos and another friend plans to post hers online. The third person swears he will surely send everyone a DVD, when he has time to get to it. That is why Shwup promises to offer a very interesting service, quite similar to what I saw with Animoto some months ago. Shwup‘s staff mission is to make as easy as possible for eveyone consolidate everyone’s photos and video in a private, shared online album. A brief video below can be more expressive and clearer than my words and give you the idea.
Using Shwup is simple: you sign up for a new account, free, (name and email address) and then pass to create a new album with your photos and video for each event we want to share. At this point you “Click Invite” on the album page and start to invite friends and family in. Those who are invited to watch the animation do NOT need to sign up, register, or download/ upload pictures or videos to contribute.

Il Web 2.0 riesce sempre a offrire nuovi strumenti utili che stimolano una buona dose di creatività e di interesse, che rendono l’utente singolo pronto a “inventare” modi di vedere la realtà, inventare presentazioni, unire vari elementi, ecc.
Shwup ripercorre le mosse che tempo fa vidi con Animoto: mettere insieme foto, immagini e clip video per creare presentazioni accattivanti, animate e musicate. Con Shwup è possibile unire “pezzi” provenienti da autori differenti, fare una vera e propria attività di post-produzione e il tutto attraverso la creazione di un account gratuito. E’ possibile inoltre condividere tutte le animazioni desiderate con poche e semplici mosse con i propri partner e amici, senza che questi debbano registrarsi, caricare e/o scaricare clip o immagini: sì, avete letto bene, senza obbligo alcuno… La cosa suona abbastanza bene.
