I just add that the videos cover a great number of matters and topics, petty and bigger issues, that can provide for a mass of ‘authentic material’ in school classes, apart from other traditional streaming channels. After you sign in (through Facebook, Twitter, or the usual personal, free account), your video will be indexed according to tags, interests, and so on.

Avete bisogno di brevi (o lunghe) clip video da adoperare in classe su un determinato argomento? Non riuscite a trovare quello che vi serve nei tradizionali canali di streaming (e penso a YouTube, Vimeo, ecc.)? Ebbene, oggi è a disposizione anche Howcast. Come recita l’originale inglese, Howcast si propone di spiegare “come” effettuare e svolgere le cose e/o determinati compiti. Molti video sono in lingua inglese ma, è bene chiarire, NON è necessario avere una videocamera per contribuire: si può anche scrivere la traccia, il copione del vostro video istruzioni e caricarlo nel sito, dove potrete indicizzarlo, ovvero catalogarlo per settore e interesse.
Infine, a Howcast è possibile accedere in molti modi, tra cui anche Facebook e Twitter, oppure attraverso il classico account personale (gratuito) che andrete a creare.
