You have always fancied about creating comics, haven’t you? Well, now it is possible and without downloading or installing any software onto the computer by using WriteComics, a typical tool of Web 2.0. WriteComics allows you to upload your personal photos, images to create a cartoon, including the clouds for the characters you write by yourself. Using WriteComics is quite easy and free: there is no registration, no software to download, but to have a likely storyboard. Upload, click and write. That’s all. Smart, isn’it?
To be frank and honest, in writing this post about WriteComics I was inspired by a teacher colleague, Annarita, who works in Ravenna, in the Italian region of Emilia Romagna, who hosts Web 2.0 And Something Else, a very interesting blog (in Italian). Questo post è deliberatamente tratto dalla lettura di un prezioso blog, Web 2.0 And Something Else, che consiglio caldamente e che segnalo anch’io per vari, buoni, motivi: a) è ideato e animato dalla collega insegnante Annarita; b) offre vari spunti interessanti; c) illustra i tanti modi di utilizzare le tecnologie digitali in modo creativo e facile; d) aiuta a sviluppare una nuova pedagogia per l’apprendimento.
Cosa propone Web 2.0 And Something Else? Oggi si illustra WriteComics, un servizio totalmente online che ha l’obiettivo di utilizzare il Web 2.0 per creare cartoons, strisce animate e disegni partendo dalle vostre foto e immagini di vario tipo. E’ molto importante tenere presente che non c’è bisogno di registrarsi al servizio, né di installare alcun software sul pc perché Writecomics è completamente web-based. Infine, sarà anche gradevole ricordare che è possibile scrivere tutti i commenti e le ‘nuvolette’ delle battute fra i personaggi, proprio come nei fumetti.
