Shortly speaking, Picnick is a online tool for photoediting, easy and funny to use. You can access Picnick in two ways: free and “Premium” ($2,08/month, or $24,95/year). It is possible to upload photos from our computer or grab them from wherever we store them on the Internet. In the Library tab we can connect to Picasa Web Albums, Facebook, Photobucket, MySpace, Webs, Webshots, Y!Mail, Flickr, and more. First we can fix our photos with basic edits like Crop, Rotate and Red-Eye. Then we get creative with tons of Effects, fonts, Stickers, Frames, and more.

Con Picnik è possibile caricare le foto dal proprio computer o recuperarle dal sito Internet su cui le abbiamo archiviate. Nella scheda Raccolta, quindi potremo connetterci a Picasa Web Albums, Facebook, Photobucket, MySpace, Webs, Webshots, Y!Mail, Flickr e altro ancora. Non c’è nulla da installare sul proprio pc, anche perché Picnick funziona con tutti i sistemi operativi.
Picnik offre gratuitamente una vasta gamma di strumenti di creazione e modifica: correggiamo le nostre foto con le funzioni di modifica di base, quali Ritaglia, Ruota e Occhi rossi. Poi diventiamo creativi utilizzando miriadi di effetti, font, adesivi, cornici e altro ancora. Inoltre, si può accedere a qualsiasi funzione contrassegnata da ‘Premium’ e provarla senza doverla acquistare. Se non siamo utenti di Picnik Premium, non possiamo applicare queste modifiche ad una foto, ma ne potremo ottenere un’anteprima completa.
