Today I just saw GoClass while surfing. GoClass is a classroom application for iPads. It allows teachers to create lessons using different forms of media, project these lessons with a compatible projection system and broadcast specific media to student iPads. It allows instructors to annotate on images and draw diagrams or write chemical equations using the Scribble feature. These annotations and diagrams can be broadcast to student devices in real-time. It acts as an effective formative assessment tool. Students can join a session started by the instructor, view and interact with images and documents shared by the Instructor and respond to questions.
GoClass creates a unique opportunity for students to follow a class at their own pace. Students can study materials shared by the instructor, and interact with text and images using touch interactions such as pinch, zoom, pan, etc. You can use this app to answer in-class questions and review the complete lesson along with logs of your responses after class.
Finally, it is possible to access the GoClass web app through a Web browser using any computer, laptop or tablet device. The Web App allows the instructor to register as a new user and manage all class work. It automatically syncs with the GoClass App on the tablet so that you can access all information from both apps at any time. Students can also register on the Web App and review class work after a session is completed.

Ecco, questo è successo oggi con GoClass, un’applicazione disponibile per Apple iPad (in lingua inglese), gratuita e utilizzabile sia sul dispositivo che attraverso il browser web.
In breve, GoClass permette di elaborare e creare lezioni e materiale didattico attraverso l’iPad combinando testi, foto, video, documenti audio in modo semplice e facile. In secondo luogo, GoClass è accessibile via web da parte degli studenti o del gruppo classe, con caratteristiche simili a quelle che ritroveremmo in una piattaforma complessa di apprendimento, per cui il docente può verificare l’accesso effettuato da parte dello studente, comprendere che materiale didattico è stato scaricato e perché.
